Many flight simulation systems concentrate on software, some producing amazing graphical images and complex visual pictures. However - although useful, we believe there is a limited amount that can be learned or experienced through relying on the sense of sight alone. Perhaps you've heard of the phrase 'flying by the seat of your pants' - undertaking some difficult operation or action by feeling your way - using the precise human senses of touch and balance. In designing our systems, we have also concentrated on that missing element other simulators have failed to grasp properly - that of 'feel' - the tactile response. Traditionally, this is a very expensive exercise to encompass, usually employing hydraulic equipment (large, noisy, and sometimes messy), and this may be one of the reasons why only the most expensive of simulators can behave close to the real thing. This has led us to develop 'Tacton' TM, a revolutionary software controlled drive system - as used in our Our simulator systems can reproduce any event for training and similar purposes - and, just as importantly, can do this for a fraction of the price. We really mean this. Forget £100,000 and more, forget prices of £30k - a proper simulator system is available for less than the cost of a second-hand car!
Speak to any experienced pilot or flying instructor - flying is only part of the exercise - but knowing how to get out of trouble when things go wrong - that's the life-saver! Typical manouvers that might be experienced... Fixed wing - engine failure, prop failure, pull-out during power dive, stall condition, spin, faulty auto-pilot.... Gyroplane - 'hover', wheel balancing, blade sailing, landing/takeoff in high cross winds, rotor out-of-balance, engine or prop failure..... Helicoptor - gearbox failure, tail rotor failure, hydraulics failure, out of balance, 'heavy landing'....

Fury Technology, and Komodo Simulations have joined forces to bring the ultimate in flight simulation Based on the Komodo professional-grade control stick platform - Vitual Blade Elite - Fury Technology have integrated powerful 'Tacton' TM motion control engines providing full control stick realism. In addition, further options offer rudder pedals with feedback, collective with feedback, throttle quadrant, and platform motion - with roll, pitch and heave/sink movement. Last but not least - a wrap around visual display. Simultaneous dual, and remote controls are possible for Instrcutor-Student interaction. The Instructor and Student don't even need to be in the same room! The platform is a beautifully crafted piece of engineering, not to be confused with 'budget'' copies - and would be an asset to any flying school. Alternatively, it wouldn't look out of place in the corner of your living room. Customised versions are possible. Basic platform starts at aound £2,500 - Please email for prices.
